The invasion in the Ukraine reflects the failure of humanity in the post WWII period to effectively develop the rule of law and democracy. Eleanor Lives! works to facilitate further development of the rule of law rather than the rule of force. The only way to prevent nuclear war is to resolve disputes judicially. This picture should not reflect the constant fears of humanity.
I would like to draw everyone’s attention to the companies engaged in the production of weapons and ammunition. There are companies, such as the Swiss company Faulhaber, which manufactures electric locomotives for the Israeli HAROP drone, which was recently used against the civilian population in Nagorno-Karabakh. Therefore, I call for the protection of human rights, organizations such as FAULHABER to stop servicing electrical appliances, which ultimately serve the civilian population. Human rights advocacy should be dealt with not only by UN member states or member states of the Human Rights Council, but also by international corporations, transnational organizations, and leading business companies. The field of human rights protection needs to be expanded and it is one of the most urgent issues of the current period.
As we emerge out of a pandemic, there is a desire to take steps so that we do not have another one. An International Bill of Rights is a step in this direction.
We welcome all comments and suggestions about the idea of IBOR as well as any plan for rights to be judicially enforceable in the courts of all countries that you think is better that the plan embodied in this draft document.
If you have a specific suggestion for the wording of a right such as Education or Free Speech, pleas make your suggestion on that Article.
If you have an entirely new Article, please put that suggestion here.
