Mariah Hartley was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995. Growing up, she lived in Bethlehem, PA, Lake Tahoe, CA, and Rosarito Beach, Mexico. At the age of three, her grandmother, a woman who had spent years professionally performing photo colorization, presented her with her first box of paints, allowing Mariah to become quickly engrossed in the art world. Her overall plans are to open an organization that focuses on Art Therapy for those suffering with severe mental and physical disabilities. She is a firm believer in the healing aspects of art, as various media has helped her to heal from her own past traumas, as well as her severe anxiety and clinical depression. She hopes to show that cartoons are not only for children: they are for everyone, and through art, they can heal.
